My four Altums, Rio Atabapo are doing great.

I bought six a year ago last December...2 passed away about a week later. they are about 4" now.

I'l post some pic's in a day or two...I'm not a great picture taker I have a old camera.

I'm trying to give my Altums a hint. I put in a proven breeding pair of an old Albino male and a pearscale marble platinum female angelfish and they laid eggs.

Hi Rick,

Nice :) There is a dedicated forum on wild angelfish with a special interest in wild altums you might consider joining. There is a member who is breeding wild altums. Might be worth checking out http://www.finarama.com/forum/index.php.

Wild Altum Angelfish, Nov 26, 2015, 1.3 years old.

This is a better video I just took then the one above.

Besides the 4 altums there is one Male philippine blue and 3 or 4 of my Albino Pearle scale that I bred.

Pretty sweet. I noticed one of the them had a very spikey spinous dorsal fin, have you noticed this on any others before?

nice, prefer the wilds now that i know what they are. Mystic aquarium has a nice planted display w/ a school of these, looks really good.
