Very nice Tim, looking forward to watching the tank over time. What size is the tank and what kind of filtration?

The backgrounds great, where did you get that?

You must have low PH

timvriens
08-12-2015, 02:19 PM
Why do you think my ph is low ? it's 7 ;)

alcastro
08-12-2015, 02:24 PM
Duscus have a more vibrant color at low ph from my experience specialy the brown base ones will turn more brown than red and on top of that you must have some good clean water, great looking Discus and tank.

Very beautiful. Your tank size is similar to what I am considering. I showed your pictures to my wife so she knows what I'm going for! :-)

Did you remove the driftwood from your tank?

timvriens
12-14-2015, 01:39 PM
yes i removed my wood, more room for the fish
+ there was getting dirt under the wood, so now i can clean my tank much better ;)

What did you charge him... a kidney?? Lol!! That is what it would take for me to give up one of those... you are a better man than I... lol

timvriens
01-26-2016, 01:01 PM
the breeder gave me €200, so thats a nice price for me :p

he is working on an "new" strain, my fish are the first generation, so he can breed with that fish back with te parents ;)

Phillydubs
01-26-2016, 01:57 PM
Hope he promised you some offspring as well! Good deal though, if you are happy thats all that matters! Never hurts to have a nice relationship with a breeder, especially one who produces the stunners yours seems to...

timvriens
01-26-2016, 03:07 PM
yes it's a very good breeder, he has a batch of royal blue's now :D
