Can I put a pair of Discus in a Hex tank?

Thinking about getting a Hexagon shaped tank. Either 30 something gallons or 60 gallons. I know these tanks are tall. But would they be ok being only around 20inches wide for a mated pair of Discus?

Don't see why not.Pretty standard to put a pair in a 20h and that is 12x24..

A 60 hex actually works quite well as a breeder, just a pita to clean.
