Setting up discus tank. which is more effective or are the two equally good. Or are there better or equal alternatives to removing chloramine from my discus water. I'm only speaking chemicals, not RO.

Same product. One is liquid, one is powdered. One is extremely more cost effective, the other isn't lol. Get the 1k Safe and never have to worry about getting it for a really long time

I've used NovAqua for over 30 yrs. and now I use NovAqua Plus, and my wife uses Seachem Prime on her Betta tanks. I'm not formiliar with with Safe as a water conditioner, will some one please explain what it is and who makes it ?

Seachem makes safe and prime.
Prime is liquid, safe is powder form of it and 1000x more concentrated. $20 treats 50'000 gallons or so.
That's why everyone says "its way more economical".
Safe and prime are both de-chlorinators and detoxify ammonia and nitrite.
