Does it always hold it's mouth like that?

Yes Pat....he isn't just holding his mouth this way, this is the way his mouth is formed, and the way it stays all of the time. He seems unable to close his mouth all the way, which is apparent when he eats. Has anyone else had a discus whose mouth is like this??

His name is Daffy Duck....
Since it came from a very reputable breeder here, I'm wondering if it's supposed to look this way, or perhaps it has a deformity that couldn't have even foreseen?? What do you think?

If you received that discus and it didn't have that attribute, it is safe to say that the breeder could not have foreseen this to happen. That is very rare, at least in my experience. Not sure how this would affect the discus, but I'd keep a close eye on it.
