Do you have a pic? I don't think the people that can help you( sorry I'm not one, just getting prepared to take the plunge into discus) will be able to make a diagnosis without a pic. Do you suspect disease or pigmentation variation?

Without a picture it will be difficult to help you. Additionally, if you are concerned that it may be illness, please fill out the questionnaire:
Please complete this questionnaire if your fish are sick (copy and paste). The more details you can provide, the better we are able to diagnose and help you treat your sick fish.

Couple of thing the plural of fry is fry. Second you have a pigeon blood discus of margin quality in the terms of color. What you are seeing is called peppering. Breeders have worked for years to remove that issue. High quality PB's show almost none at all.

its peppering. your fish is trying to camouflage to the darker objects in your tank like your background and possibly substrate. it is what they naturally do, which is why many people keep pigeon blood strains in tanks with white/light backgrounds and substrates. many people do not like peppering but some people think its just fine bc its a natural occurance. think of it as freckles and how in the sun they come out more.

You're cutting it short for that many fish of any kind in a 15 gallon tank.

No problem ,see you shortly in the disease section. Not trying to be an ***,but you're going to learn rather quickly that fish need more than to just stay wet and eat.I just cannot imagine that many discus in a 15 gal. tank.
