Barb's Delightful Designs Donation Drive Auction

Dear SimplyDiscus Friends,

As part of our current donation drive Barb of Delightful Designs Discus Cones (http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumdisplay.php?183-Delightful-Designs-Discus-Cones-%28Barb-Odgers%29-North-Carolina) is donating six unique hand crafted items with shipping included to a US address. Anyone who has any of Barb's cones, caves or other items knows the care and attention Barb puts into every piece. Each item is her own design. Thank you so much Barb for your generous donation.


The items for this auction are the exact items list and shown in the pictures below.

1 swirled clay cone
1 glazes cone with matching catfish hut
1 tube pleco cave
1 swirled clay planting dish
1 hanging flat cone
1 surprise piece

Please note the Barb has include one surprise item which will be revealed once the auctions ends.

The auction will end Sunday, November 29 at 8:00PM EST

For any questions please send myself or Barb a PM since we will be monitoring the auction.

Auction Rules:

1. You have to be a registered member of the forum for at least five days prior to the start of the auction or have at least 5 posts prior to the start of the contest.. Any bid received from a member not meeting this criteria will be deleted. All bids are to be posted in this thread. If you decide to bid ensure it is the highest bid at the time of posting.

2. The auction ends at Sunday, November 29 at 8:00 PM EST (eastern standard time). Any bid time stamped 8:01 PM or after is considered null and void.

3. Barb can only ship to a US address. Please keep this in mind when bidding.

4. We have tried to anticipate all issues and make the rules clear and concise, but should an issue or problem arise we maintain all rights to resolve it as we see fit. You agree to this by your participation in this auction.

5. I will not be allowed to participate in this auction. :(

Thanks Pat and Rich, I am always glad to show my appreciation for this wonderful place called Simply Discus. I have learned so much here, made many friends for life, and am happy to be able to share my pottery with lots of the members. I think I can safely say that there are many many fish that got their start in life as eggs on my cones or in my caves. Here is a good chance to get some of my hand made pieces for your tanks and also support the forum.

Either that or cook some fish with any old wine in front of the discus, as a "gentle" warning as to what happens if they don't earn there keep!;)

Thank you!! I have lots of cone customers who have told me that their discus started cleaning the cone almost as soon as it was put into the tank. Spawning soon after. I do put "magic" into the clay you know...
