Hi,

My fishes in my 88gallon tank(400l) is not growing at all(all fishes in the tank), even tho i feed them very well every day with great water quality and great food.
So i decided to deworm them with eSHA GDER (eSHA labs)(against tape worms, gill flukes etc) so they are starting to poop wierd stuff. Pictures below:

My question is, what is this my angel fish are pooping out if u are to guess by the picture?(this is after the medicine)
(if there something wrong with pictures just tell me and i will fix it.)
my fishes are very important to me so please give me your thoughts, ive never seen this before with my fishes! :)

kind regards,
Matlo

You just gave them dewormer, they are going to poo and sometimes this happens to my wife's angels.
When you say "good quality water" what exactly do you mean?

i actually came home from afterwork and was drunk while i was doing this post lol, so there was some wierd and sentimental things going on in my post...

anyway what i ment was that the water in the tank is good, i check all my tanks every day with drop tests. So the wierd feces didnt come from bad water quality.

"they are going to poo" well yeah, but ive never seen the feces being this wierd, like a seethrough thread(pictures). i was woundering if its something wrong with the fish, saw this on a smaller discus aswell, this came after the treatment was done. Thats why i think its something wrong

What are you feeding them? You did not post their diet in detail.

Knowing your water change regiment would help too.

Water change daily, 10-20% depending on the no3 status.
I try to keep no3 at 15mg/l(ppm) due to my plant growth in the tank.
But its way less no3 now due to the medication so i switch water more rapidly.
No2 0.01 mg/l(ppm).
PH 6.8

my KH and GH-drops tests are empty for the moment, but i will buy some later.

Ive been medicating for the past 2 weeks with no success, different meds, always following the intstructions before and after medication.

http://www.eshalabs.eu/english/products/esha-hexamita.html
Hexamita

I first thought it would be a worm problem, because of the bad growth:
http://www.eshalabs.eu/english/products/esha-gdexsupregsup.html
(cestoda)

no success, so im currently on:
http://www.eshalabs.eu/english/products/esha-ndx.html
(against parasitic nematodes)

Can it still be like worms (cestoda) but the medication is too weak or something?

Please give me your thoughts, im greatfull for all the help. Im planning on breeding alot of the fishes from my community tank where the epedemic is but its halted now because of this, so i cant move them.

thank you for now.

sorry forgot about the diet.

Daily home made mix of
Salmon
Whole shrimps will shell
Codfish
Sajevo
Clams
Green peas
and JBL multivitamin-drops with aminoacids.

Agar agar as binding

This is something i give them every day, and Aquatic nature discus energy food aswell.

No beefheart because i have more fishes than discus in that tank.

All the fishes are eating very well, not spitting out stuff. And there is no weight loss either.
But very very little growth, and wierd feces from almost everyone of them as u can see in the pictures.

Why aren't you changing more water?
Why only 10% daily?

It looks like Hex stringy poop to me from the pictures.
Hex ussualy comes from a longterm bad water quality so for a start you might wanna up the WC and hygiene regime and wait for the fish immune system fights this thing through by its self.

If this doesn't happend and only gets worse, maybe you should start dosing metronidazole.
