Buying Metronidazole Powder (Hikari Metro+)

Where can I buy Metronidazole powder? I've bought a few times online (Hikari Metro+) in the past and works well when needed. However, I've been to several sites and they all say out of stock. Is there a shortage or are there restrictions on purchasing this stuff now? I see Amazon still sells Fish Zole, but I've never used the tablets before and seems more expensive than the powder.

Any alternative recommendations, other than the tablets? Thanks!

I belive metro+ is currently not available ATM because it's not certified for human consumption. I heard the requirement changed recently.
