Hey everyone I need some help. I'm looking for a new pump for my water draining. I currently use a Countryline 1/12 HP pulling 8-12 ft head and will drain about 2-2 1/2 gallons a minute. I change probably around 100 gallons daily and 300 twice a week. The main issue is how loud this thing is. I'm looking for something that can get to about 5 gallons a min ++ and be more quite. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can find out my current water change set up here.

mag pumps come to mind, i have one in my sump and it runs quiet. its "draining" my sump into my tank.

for draining I use gravity, but i guess that isn't an option for you?

Thank you but No gravity is working against me as I draw water up out of tank/down under house/up to pump/down to drain.

But I was wondering if I had water at the pump when I started it would it create enough vaccum to start the flow going?
