Hi all, I am currently running 3 tanks with discus, a 120 gallon and 2 60 gallon tanks.

In one of the 60 gallon tanks I have 8 fish that arrived from Hans on 01/15/2016. They are 4 Flame Red and 4 Checkerboard that were about 3" when I got them.

The second tank I have is currently housing 5 Red Turquoise that I bought as 2" fish from Andy in Newton, MA.

The 120 gallon has 6 more of the Red Turquoise, the smaller ones. There is also a pair of Red White fish that I also got from Andy with the turq's on December 6th, 2015.

This tank also has a cory, 2 hatchetfish and 13 Pristella Tetras.944489444994450

The lighting is better on this tank so the turq's are brighter.

Thought I would show my current water change system.

I made a pvc setup attached to a 1/2" diameter hose. The end of the hose goes to a shower. I start the siphon on one tank and the other two I can start the siphon by raising the end of the hose as it is already filled with water. All 3 of my tanks are the same height, so the siphon removes 33% of the water. I am currently doing this every day.

The tanks then auto fill with a 1/4" tube attached to a 3M filter. A water meter measures the flow rate and total volume.

You can see the floats from autotopoff.com in the photo. We have pretty good water here that is very soft. It takes about 3 - 4 hours to top off all 3 tanks which allows the heaters to keep up and the carbon dioxide to dissipate.

They were 2" - 2.25" when I got them in December. I measured them today and they are all about 4". I sold off the 4 smallest leaving me with the 7 larger ones.

They are getting much more red in their fins now.

I am extremely happy with these fish!"

Laying eggs at about 5 months...95612

If I weren't there to see it, I would have missed it because they ate the eggs almost immediately!

I now have 8 fish from Hans and the 7 Turqs from Andy in the 120 gallon tank.

I am cleaning up one of my 60 gallon tanks for my order from Kenny, 6 fish 5 - 5.5".

My 2 Red White's continue to lay eggs in my other 60 gallon tank but I need to protect them as they are eaten in 2 - 3 days.

An update on some of my fish. The Red Turq's are growing pretty well and the Red White pair is finally raising some babies (only 7 though).

Also I should mention that with the warm weather I now siphon the water into 55 gallon drums. I then use a 1/4hp pump and a garden hose to reuse the water for my gardens and lawn. Until this weekend we have had a very dry spring/summer.

I am putting together a solar panel/lead acid battery/12v pump with a level switch to transfer the water from the drums. I have a boat so the batteries and pump were kicking around anyway.

I have had the Red Turquoise I bought from Andy in Newton, MA for a year now. Sold some and lost one, but this photo is the biggest. Measured him at exactly 7", there is one other within a quarter inch of him.

Please excuse the algae, this tank gets a blast of direct sunlight every day. I put 2 plecos in there and they are making slow but sure progress eliminating it.

Same fish, 6 days later. Two Bristlenose Plecos cleaned the entire tank of algae!
