I'm nine months away from getting my new 200 us gallon aquarium + fifty gallon sump made and fitted in my living room replacing my current 120 gallon setup with sump. It's a present from me to me for my 40th birthday :) this will be my first discus adventure in this aquarium.
.I've been a fish keeper since I was 7 and have never been without. For about 6 years I bred numerous types of of fish, mainly tanganyikan ciclids, with a few South American ciclids for a bit of interest. With the arrival of my son a little more than 6 years ago I left breeding behind me.

I've spent the last 7 months creating a heavily planted high tech system in my 120 gallon. The last 4 months I've been growing on platinum angles. I added them at a little bigger than (as ye Americans say) dime size.

Hoping to document my transition from my current setup to my new aquarium.

To start off with I'm wondering how much difference is there in growing on angles to growing on discus.

Thanks for reading guys

Michael
