My Background is Curling! Looking for Ideas...

Hello everyone!

I'm hoping someone has been down this path ahead of me and can share their experience! I bought aquarium background to cover the sides almost 2 years ago. I used mineral oil to apply, and I loved the results, but it has long since dried out. I don't know how to fix so that it lays flat? I have not tried to redo the mineral oil because I want something I don't have to redo.

Here's the challenge: I am NOT able to remove the background and start over. I can only fix the edge that is curled. (My aquarium is built into my wall.)

Is there an easy fix to this?

I secure the edges of mine with black electrical tape. No idea if you can get to yours the way your set up, but that's what I do for what it's worth.

Yeah, any kinda tape really, or blue tack or 3mm pro double stick tape. Looks like you may not have enough length, but if you stick it to the far left where your glass edge is, it won't show from the front.
