Hi Guys,
just planning my 9x2.5x2.5 tank which has got a 6x18x18 sump. I got 2 x 19mm bulkhead drilled in the last section of the sump which sits just below the top of the tank. These will got straight into my drain which is built into the floor in the cabinet. I have got to 2 overflows 60mm drilled into base of the tank which goes into the sump, my quesiton is if the power goes off will these 2 x 19mm bulk head stop the tank from draining into the lounge room. I'm going to put drill a small hole just above the water line in the return pipe so if the power goes off it will only drain so far. Just do my planning and this is the first sump setup i have done before.
