I know with discus a lot of people here would prefer to order online from hans, Kenny, etc, since the general vibe has seemed to be that LFS stock might not be as good of quality. Does anyone here with salt water tanks feel the same about salt water fish? If so, can you please recommend a site to buy salt water fish? I'm really just looking for a pair of regular clown fish. Might do some browsing at premium clowns as well...

Man, I have been looking at a whole lot of places for clownfish. Check these out:

Clownfishdepot but they seem to only be on FaceBook and I don't have it :(

A nice list on the right side of premium clownfish:

I love clownfishextreme, WYSIWYG

and of course the list of ORA clownfish:

You might inquire your LFS about ordering from somewhere like Sea and Reef or a supplier like that, then pick them up still in the shipping bag before they hit the LFS water. That's what I did for my Onyx clowns. For normal clowns you may have just as good of luck going to a quality LFS and picking them out of the tanks yourself. Generally I'd say LFS tend to take better care of their SW stock....from my experiences. Fancy clowns I would for sure try to order in somewhere.

I, and others, like Live Aquaria's Diver's Den section. WYSIWYG, free shipping on X amount, and a really really good guarantee that is basically no questions asked over the phone. I had a wrasse die on me in shipping, I called up and was off the phone within 5mins with a refund being processed. If I remember correctly all she asked was which part of the order was DOA, apologized and stated her sorrow for the little wrasse. You can sign up for their email list thing and EVERYDAY in the afternoon it sends an email telling you what you are likely to see come up on the Diver's Den that day, then another email alerting you to the DD being updated. So if you are searching for a specific fish and see it on the list, as soon as that update comes you can go check. I normally wouldn't buy from Live Aquaria but Diver's Den has been fantastic. I guess mileage can always vary.
