Hi everyone.

The flashing and shimmying is continuing in my tank and I have PP on the way. I have spent hours reading on the subject, but I haven't seen a recommended dose of Prime to neutralize the PP at the end of the treatment. Anyone have experience that can make a recommendation?

Thanks

Eric

I prefer to use Hydrogen Peroxide I use 3% hydrogen peroxide Seems to work great and you certainly can't beat the price. Though before using I do a large water change.

I use a few squirts of Hydrogen Peroxid it clears the water in a few minutes, I then do a 50% water change.

I've used both Prime and hydrogen peroxide to neutralize PP. The hydrogen peroxide is cheaper, so try to make sure I have a couple bottles on had when treating the tank with PP.

For what it's worth, I've tried dosing just hydrogen peroxide in the tank instead of potassium permanganate with great success. Discus went from lethargic to very active over night and started eating again. I think I dosed 4ml per gallon of HP.
