This years Nada 2016 event was everything I expected and more. Met some great people and sure I missed some. The Midwest Discus Association put on a great show and was happy to have experienced it finally. I not going to mention any names but some of you know who you are in which I spent a lot of time with talking and hanging out.
Al and Ricardo...thank you for flipping the bill on some good chow and wish we had more time to return the favor.
Matt...you stand out during this event for your dedication with the Nada pics and allowing the soul Canadian hang out with you from Wed afternoon to Sun.
Pics below were my first attempt with a DLSR before I sat in Ricardo's photography talk...so try not to be so harsh with quality.
Some flower pics I added were at the Hotel rear garden so it makes it ok to include.

Those are great pics Ralph, and I ain't just saying that. That was a tough venue to photograph in, even I felt I was struggling. Thanks for sharing. I'll let you buy me a beer at the next NADA event ;)

I wish I would have been slotted earlier for my presentation so people could have implemented some of the techniques I went over in the presentation. Hopefully, everyone there feels a little better about photography settings :)

Ralph, the pictures look great. The 1st one you caught the bulge on the top of the water as the fish swam that's cool. Thank you for your help setting up, you helped make this show great.

That first pic is when Arden engraved my gift bag cup with the Discus. I was wanting to pay him but he said no. The out of doors pics are wonderful. I spent a lot of time outside because I'm a solitary person. I need to escape from too many people. I looked at the flowers in the walking path but I didn't see what you saw. I saw a bird nest and bunny rabbits. It was good for me. I was mostly looking at mama duck in the pond with her four babies. I don't suppose you have pics of them, do you? I worry about her babies. There are turtles in that pond.
