What to Treat in QT for

Hiya, thought I'd just ask what people QT treatments they administer to dither fish And Discus in a QT setup. Do you just monitor for 5-6 weeks ? And treat anything that presents itself ? Or do you administer a broad range treatment and treat for worms ?

Most people here just monitor fish in QT tank for 1 month or only put dewormers prazi & flubendasole during QT if the source of fish is LFS or other non proven discus source.

After the 1 month QT monitoring we mix and test with only one fish for at least 2 weeks for cross contamination and compatibility of the two different sources/groups of fish .

My standard quarantine is 6 weeks with no prophylactic treatment. I caution most hobbyist that the first tank in your fish room should be the quarantine tank. Experienced hobbyists will have two of these available at all times.
