Little Blue Heron and Chicks

I was able have my hubby watch over my parents and I was able to slip over to Gatorland in the heat of the day :( and snagged a few pictures. :) There are still birds raising chicks and this blue heron's chicks were following it all over the place.

The parent did mange to catch a small break.

The light looks harsh in the first shot but still nice but the second one shows this a lot less. Way to go Pat

What beautiful pics Pat. Here we have the Great Blue Heron but I have never seen young ones. Your photog. is really good!

Thanks Barb, we have the larger blue heron here too. I do not think their chicks are white however. :)
