Matt's Show Fish Megathread

[Discus-n00b]

This is where I will put all of the show fish photos I edit. They will trickle in as I finish them, until I finish them. Some may have multiple shots of each fish or different edits of each. Not in tank numerical order. Not all show tanks may make the cut. I don't know who every fish belongs too, either sold by or bought by, but I do know a few by memory. Quote the photo and someone will surely be able to ID it. I still have tank numbers if someone has a list to reference. I apologize some of these have bright silicone seams, heaters, or black rims in the photo, it's tough to avoid in this settings. These photos are not to be used for commercial use without speaking to me first. I ask that if you share these anywhere else, that either a link back here on Simply or my name travels with the photos. If you see someone using my photos for commercial use without permission please let me know. Enjoy!

I've done it before, tried it before. Quit doing it for a number of reasons. To watermark it properly to prevent it being stolen would totally ruin the image for viewing, and I hate that. I'm a closet perfectionist and spend so much time working on the image I've come to hate stamping a watermark on it. I'm going on the honor system here, and I am more capable and willing to pursue offenders than before. Not that I want it to get to that. The discus community is small, word gets around fast. My name travels with the image anyway, to a point. It's embedded in the photo, but more on the surface I would like the credit.

Sorry everyone. Like I was telling Rick, we had 2 guys go on vacation at the same time in an 8 man company so my workload was increased twofold this week. Still have more to put up and other things to do!

All very beautiful Discus, and awesome photography, but I'm particularly fond if this big beauty. Can someone please tell me if its a spotted eruption?
