Diving Pelicans

I captured these while staying in Melbourne with my parents. It took several outings in order to figure out a place and time where I could get close enough to capture pelicans diving for fish. These pictures are still at the outer range of my 80-400 lens and heavily cropped.

This guy was just flying along the top of the water. They actually rise and dip with the waves in flight.

There were a lot of fish with the incoming high tide. The pelicans were rather busy with all the fish.
