I have used this combination in the past and found that the water gets really cloudy. I begin to see it in 12 hours and by 18 hours it is so bad the water needs changing.
I ended up doing 100% WCs every 12 hours, and went through a lot of expensive meds.
Under the microscope it looks like a stringy bacteria that I don't recognize, or possibly a yeast.
I wonder if others using this combination have seen the same thing, or if there is just something in my water that blooms out. If I remember right, there was no biofilter on the tank at the time. Either med used alone did not cause this cloudiness.
