Thank you! That's exactly what I'm hoping to get out of this pair. He's a big, tall 15-bar snakeskin, and she's a very round 9- bar blue.
I love that evil eye she gives me at the end. Those guys are wigglers today!

Large batch as far as I can tell from the pic

Yes, I think you're right. Maybe 200 at first glance. The last group is about 75 and the oldest about 24 (hard to count the buggers). As I said somewhere else recently, I wish I could get 75's at $1 a gallon! If this group does well I think I've met my goals for this pair for a while, and need to make them take a break.

That group moved to a sponge a day later and have grown to free swimming today. I think since they didn't attach to the parents first, they're swimming all over the place, but the parents are chasing them down. Hopefully they'll get them corralled and they'll attach.

They attached! Well, that went smoothly. In the past I've been worried about them attaching to the sponge and not quite ever attaching to the parents and loosing most of them. I think that happened once (ah, the memory goes...). Maybe the parents are just good!

Tried to wipe down the tank before a water change. She attacked my hand pretty hard! Couldn't get the last 10% wiped.
