I went out early this morning for some moonset shots and got some other nice shots. The moonset was nearly a non-event due to clouds etc.

I have been getting a little one-on-one from a professional photographer in the local camera club and I am learning a lot.

Awesome shots Pat. My favorite subject, water and boats. I too tried to take some pictures of the super moon, but had the same problem as you.

The 3rd shot is really great Pat.

I'm not overly fond of the 1st one as it is too processed for my taste. You can get the feel of HDR already here. Just my opinion of course.

Thanks Ricardo, the third shot was a pleasant surprise. The second image is the HDR. There is something I do not like about the third one. Not sure what it is.

The sky is gorgeous Joe but the overall composition is not great.
