I have posted pictures of the wild turkeys which live around my place but finally got some decent pictures of them. I was able to get ahead of them and have them walk by me. The afternoon was overcast so pics are a little dark.

I was about 100 ft or so Willie sitting on the ground. The lead bird looked at me pretty hard for about five minutes before walking thru. The rest followed. :D

That second shot is really interesting. The light you captured shining off the feathers makes the bird look metallic. We have them but in our yard they just look brown. Your camera has caught the magic. You have transformed what is usually a humble looking animal into a piece of sculpture.
