How long to keep mediation with metroplex

I had a case of hex for the past 2 weeks. it affected at least 3 fish. i tripled the dosage of metroplex and medicated the tank twice a day. the 3 fish were not eating during this time. all 3 are eating normally now, but once in awhile i still see white poop. how long do i continue the meds, ever after i no longer see white poop.

I would not cut antibiotic treatments short.On most metro bottles you'll see about 6 days of treatment.IMO this is not long enough.at least 10 days would be your best bet.Also,I would even go stranger than the directions indicate.This treatment usually takes 5-6 days before they start eating,but needs to continue for another 5-6 days.

it took over a week for them to start eating again. i was going to keep medicating until i didn't see white poop for 5 days.

That sounds about right. I use to treat until they recovered and then 3-5 more days afterwards.
