Nice one Pat, and I totally agree. I'd much rather shoot a half moon or crescent moon than a full moon.

That looks great! I see that was taken with a D5, do you have both a D500 and a D5?

I do now Devon. Had some money burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't resist. The macro shots in the New/used lens were taken with the D5 also. Only had it about a week or so. It is very similar to the D500 in the button layout so was super easy to get use too.

Oh boy lol That's the big boy of Nikons ! It will be nice to compare your pictures with both cameras.

That is one hell of a shot Pat. You really have a nack for this picture thing. Here is a pic I took with my iPhone. I woke up to this on the boat last weekend. How can I improve the shot? As far as the technical aspects.
