Is this a good, reliable test kit or are there better ones available. Thanks, Paul K.

I've used it for years... the nitrate reading can be a bit deceiving, but it gets you into the ball park. if you keep up with your water changes, you won't use it as much.

They are just OK. The problem is the better ones get expensive quick.

Be sure you shake the living daylights out of the Nitrate bottle or you wont get a reading.

Use the api for everything but nitrate. Seachem nitrate test is much easier to use and read.

And actually the seachem does nitrite and nitrate in one test.

With frequent wcs I rarely even test
