Decided to use the poor weather to my advantage and take some long exposures of moving water. These exposures run 6-12 seconds using "bulb" mode and ND filters (neutral density)

This pushed the camera to its limits, being old it doesn't handle low light all that well.

Switched to my K3 camera...

I think "poor weather" often is perfect for this type of water long exposure. Really fits the scene. These are great. The K20 seems to have more of a magenta cast to it, I say the camera because I assume you used the same ND filters on both cameras?

Looks like you have some great streams to photograph, I have to travel at least an hour to find something that nice.

Thanks Matt,
Yes ND filter and lens are the same. The k20d was released in 2008... its a 14 mp sensor. Its a great camera even today for some things....low light isnt one of them. But at 9 years old I guess it hold its own well enough. Its still my go to camera for alot of photography especially in camera hazzardous conditions..... but I swapped it out for the k3 even though it was drizzling because I knew I wouldnt like the results as much as the k3. The k3 isnt a spring chicken but it was released in 2013... so much newer sensor and much better Iso Range....its also 25 mp.

CT has some decent streams and rocks...No real mountians but lots of hills and rocks. We grow rocks here every year in the fields... seriously. I have a field across from my house and the first crop they harvest are the rocks that grew over winter!
