I went to take pictures of blue-eyed grass. It blooms this time of year and does not open until the sun is up and bright. The flower is tiny, an inch across or so.

I am not sure what these are but the little beetles love them.

These were blooming by the lake. A little larger then the blue-eyed grass.

Pretty little flower but again. Not sure what it is. This one was past it's prime.

Pat I really like the Blue-eyed Grass. It came out very well! I would definitely take more of those. If I could make a suggestion. That flower really likes full sun as you know. That makes it harder to photograph. Try shading it... or diffuse the light shining on it. The colors should pop.

A sheet or two of baking paper should do the trick as a diffuser.

He may mean parchment paper. Just about as cheap, same area of the grocery store. Whiter, but still fairly translucent. Since I discovered it, I love using it when baking brownies, etc.
