How long does it take for cloudy eyes and popeyes to heal?

One of my discus had cloudy eyes that turned into popeyes and it is now in stable condition. It actually spawned, but its eyes are still cloudy and hasn't fully cleared up yet? How long does it take?

I noticed another discus of mine, a part of its side of its eye has a white speck now. I don't know why these bouts of sicknesses keep happening in my tank.

Hi Jeff, popeye eye is likely caused by bacteria and because the infection is from within,it takes a much longer time....sometimes months.

If it is contained now, will it naturally clear up?

More water changes should clear the problem , but
if the cloudy becomes more white like the color of
egg white most likely it's permanent.
