I really like this series Al, I sort of have a thing for old headstones. We were at Arlington National Cemetery about two years ago and a spent too much time for my wife roaming the civil war area. There's just something to me about paying respect to a soldier that perhaps no one has for who knows how many years. Thanks for sharing.

I know what you mean Keith, My wife and I visit the these places often. I visited an old site today that had many Civil war soldiers buried there. So much history and so many stories. Glad you liked it. You never know when you post a set of pictures if someone can see what you saw..and feel what you felt... glad this set touched a cord with you.
