I went with my local camera club to Bok Tower in Lake Wales. Bok Tower is a natural stone structure built in 1929 and it is considered a historic site in Florida. The site also has a historic home built in the 1930 but I did not tour that this trip. I did on a previous trip and think that is posted here http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?124496-Bok-Tower-and-Gardens. Hopefully there has been some improvement in my photography and post processing skills.

What an interesting tower. It hasn't changed much over the years. I liked the pictures in both threads Pat, but I'm sure you look at things with different perspective now. Keep the great photos coming.

Some of the gardens.

Note the turtle under the right-most lily.

Looks like snake heads in middle of this flower.

Thanks Joe, I suspect it will change little since it is considered a historic site. I would say my perspective and skills have both matured a lot even in the last year. I am more in turn with composition etc, not that I always get it right lol. Still learning to look for that different angle etc so a journey.

Pat, You had some nice pics your first trip, but you have definitely come a long way. The practice you put into it has paid off !

Awesome Pat! Love the tower shot of the gold door, looks like an image from a fairy tale magical garden. First sunflower is my favorite.
