I had a unique opportunity to attend a "WWII Pinup Shoot" where models were dressed in period clothing and accessories. I am trying to show in my images some of the thoughts/emotions that people could have during WWII.

For this first image which one do you like best. I caption this "Waiting to Hear", a young woman waiting to hear from her soldier hoping all is well with him.

The empty barn hits home with WWII theme. Seeing as to how our boys left their farms to fight. Nice pic.

Hard to decide for me. I love the scene, and being able to see a full body shot. I think it really helps set the timeframe. However the second one seems a bit more personal and has more emotion to me as that is the focus in that particular photo, on the model rather than a lot of the scene. I think they are both excellent Pat. I saw the others you had one facebook and I loved them, I could relate with them a bit.

That was my problem Matt, they both work in different ways.

Yeah those! I like those. I like a lot of things about them (the period uniform, rifle, rifle sling, camo helmet covers) but i really like the color tones.
