Just back from helping with a photo tour to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Some shots from the Jackson area and the Tetons. They had ~600 inches of snow this year including a bit more on the mountains while we were there. I have not personally seen so much snow on the Tetons.
Shots are from Mormons Barns, Snake River (2), Schwabachers Landing, Jackson Lake pano, and the night shots from String Lake (2).

My wide angle lens is a Nikon 17-35mm 2.8 lens. This is a rather old lens but still good for night photography. The last picture is the Milky Way which supplies its own light when shot as a long exposure, in this case 20 seconds. It is best to plan these shots with little or no moon and no extraneous surrounding light.
