This is probably a stretch but looking to see if we have any members that have recently gone camping/hiking in Canada from the USA?

Anyone?

Looking for guidance on bringing freeze dried precooked meals like Mountain House and Back Packers Pantry in Canada and back to.the USA if we dont use them. They are too expensive to lose at customs.

Its been a very long time since I visited Canada and I know alot has changed. The customs websites for the USA and Canada are confusing as all heck and give me a royal headache!

Well Al that is one dam good question...I have browsed both the customs web pages in search for bringing fish to the show and bringing fish back in...and was not able to make heads or tails in the end.
As for foods as you speak...I assuming commercial packaged dried foods that show the ingredients may just be fine.
The links below may assist somewhat...

Thanks Ralph! Yes thats a tough one too. Thats a tough question on the fish too! I can see it being a problem in that unless you could prove they were the same Discus you may have to pay fees as if they were bought in the USA and they would need to be inspected I think.
