I brought one of my fish back home after showing it at NADA. It's in quarantine. Is there any recommended prophylactic treatment that's prescribed, and how long to keep in QT?

Steve, I always QT the fish after a show for six weeks. I generally do not treat for anything unless the fish is not acting right. Hopefully the tank lids prevent any cross contamination.

That's what I would do.

Not really water mixing, but I did bring a couple nets to the show that had been passed around by the time I got to the showroom Sunday. That's what I get for sleeping in and going to breakfast first.

Hey Steve, next time hide your stuff so people don’t use it.

They were under my for-sale tank, behind the blue paper with my shipping box. I had mentioned to a couple folks that I had brought extra nets. They were in my room. Maybe someone thought what they found were them. By the time I got to the showroom a bit before 10, and seeing all the activity, I felt the need to pack up quickly and didn't even think about getting my other nets. Too much going on.

Yes, I saw someone else doing that with big fish in the 20 gal's!

I did that with two of the wilds. One jumped between two of the tanks. Paul Butler was helping me and he managed to rescue that one. lol
