I have a question I want to ask. I rarely see any of them here except for incognito who comes here just to post about a new auction. Mr. Bugg is the only one who is here just for fun, and I have seen nothing of him since he last posted to his wonderful contest thread as I patiently wait to see more.

All I want is to see the recording of Dr. Smith's presentation. I have experienced the devastation of Cryptobia, and it was total devastation, and now I hear that the parasite is endemic! How can that be????

I'd be happy to pay money, but I don't know how to contact any of these guys. Please help if you can.

I don't believe a recording was made due to intellectual property issues. I know I wasn't permitted to record it.

Liz, I do not think the speakers were recorded. I know that Paul's first talk was not recorded. I can check with Rick/Keith if you like.

I'm sure they weren't. My only chance is that if I contact him via the University he may have published something I could get access to. Thanks, though.

Liz: Stephen Smith has his academic webpage at http://www.vetmed.vt.edu/people/bios/smiths.asp. You can get his e-mail from this site.

Hello Liz, I rarely post, but I'm on Simply every day. My wife and I missed seeing you at the NADA show. I asked Dr. Smith about recording his presentation and he didn't want it.

Like Jerry, I'm here just about every day also to see what is happening. I don't post a lot either. I knew I probably shouldn't have started the contest thread with the Show coming up but did. I just got way to busy to keep up with it. My fault. Once the Show was over and things had settled down I felt like it was too late. I'll do an update.

I hate that I wasn't there, Jerry. I had decided not to attend earlier, but as it turned out I would have been unable to because of my back. I always liked talking with you and your wife at the banquet. I've always considered you one of the good'uns.

Mr. Bugg your contest thread was great. I figured you'd have won for sure. Please catch us up. It is not to late, at least as far as I'm concerned.

Liz, in case you didn't already know from Chicago, Dr. Smith is extremely nice. If you haven't already emailed him I would definitely do so, mentioning NADA etc. I'm nearly positive if there isn't something already published he can send you he'll likely type up and give you a detailed response.

I had been posting every day or two leading up to and following NADA until maybe the last week. We must not be traveling in the same Simply circles or something.

Hope you get your question answered.

Thanks so much for telling me that, Keith. I did speak to him in Chicago. He was nice to me, but I had no idea that he is nice in such a big way. I actually hadn't gotten the nerve to email someone so big. I'll gather the right words together and try either this evening or tomorrow. (I'm shy with people I who I think of as "big". I need to get over that.

I'm sorry that I hadn't noticed you here on Simply. My bad.

Did you happen to notice Keith's new signature?

Yeah, I sure did !

It was a bit of a shock to see that signature, but not a huge surprise, if you know what I mean.

Congratulations to you Keith - much deserved !

I have noticed more than signature changes. I'm way happier now than I was before.
