Hello everyone! I have had my 65 gal discus tank running for 6 months now. Until last night I had 6 discus, now unfortunately it is 5 (babies are NOT resilient !!). I have a sand bottom because I love the look. I do 2-3 water changes a week at 50% or more each time. I have played with temperature and they seem to like 85 F best - I get the least amount of problems that way. I have come to this forum over the past half year for info and finally decided to join because I have a fish with a problem and my local fish guy won’t help me pick a medicine because “he is not a vet”. K i respect his fear of posing as a vet but... there’s NO fish vets in this town lol lol. So here is me... here with what i see as the best looking bunch of supporters... and will post that on a different thread.

Anyway I always have so many questions so prepare to see lots of me! I dont care if people have different answers from each other because you all have experience and knowledge is power!

Hi again, sorry to hear you had a bit of a setback. Try and give us as much background info as possible, there is actually a sickness/disease section, if you could fill the template out to the best of your knowledge it will give folks here the best chance to help

Welcome to the forum and the hobby. Don't be discouraged by your loss, it happens to the best of us. Use it as incentive to learn and your fish will thank you for it.

Forum question. How do I know if someone has responded to a thread I started?

you're welcomed.....you can subscribe to your thread and receive notifications when someone answers your thread...some acknowledgement to responses would be curtious as well.
