Looking good mate. What substrate are you using? Any root fert tabs? What temp are you targeting? Is the plan to intro the plants to a discus tank?

Thanks. My plant cups (homemade from plastic bottles) have black Flourite in them. No fert tabs yet. I don't expect to put them in a discus tank, since I think it's too hard to keep it clean enough for discus to do well. I'm hoping to set up a 75 gal eventually with them and then add some other fish that would do OK. Right now I have some cherry shrimp in there too, so I don't want anything that will eat them.

I think the tank's due for a cleaning, which to me means lifting out the plant containers and wood so I can siphon the bottom. I run it through a net to catch any critters i suck up by mistake. Kind of a hassle.
