I'm currently keeping a very small group of S. discus "Novo Airão."

Here are some photos. More to come as they progress. For now they're being kept in a 65-gallon QT with a few other fishes. Soon enough they'll be given their own aquarium.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the "Heckel" game....... :)

Cheers,
---Brian

How big are they. Going by their proportions they look tiny

Yes they are quite small. The largest one is maybe three inches.

Hi Fred,
I'm sorry to learn of your loss.
These came from my friend Jeff Rapps (www.tangledupincichlids.com).
I'm very happy to have them, and they are looking better each day. Still very small....largest one is just about 3.25 inches at the most (if that).
Cheers, and I hope you're able to get another group going.
