Does anybody breed these any more? They were the first discus I got from Al and it has to be about 15 years ago.
They were probably the best I ever had but I have not seen them talked about, pictures, ect. since.

There was a Green Turquoise being developed a few years back, but I can't even find pictures on the Internet anymore.

When I see photos of discus for sale sites of Green Discus or Green Diamonds or Ocean Greens.. they are always super blurry super altered overexposed photos (looking at your Macs).. with the washed out yellow/orangy eyes giving it away...

Al,

I wish I had seen yours. I've heard of the Green Turquoise, but I've honestly never seen a good photo. I'm really curious to see how different they look from the original Wattley Turqs or the Blue Turqs and Red Turqs we see today.

You might want to look at some of the greens on Discus Madness. I saw a shipment from a local hobbyist he had the green diamonds they actually were better then the website.

At the Chicago NADA show, someone had a tank of F2 Green young fish. A friend of mine bought the whole tank and raised about 10 to adults. They were all very nice fish. He had to get out due to a health issue and I ended up with two of them. Will post pictures in the future.

Several females have tried to initiate courtship with the big guy, but I think he's a eunuch. :(

I'm hardly an expert on wild discus. But I feel that their coloration, whether it's that deep mahogany or the blue overcoat, is unmatched.
