Hi, I went on a weekend trip and when I came back I noticed that one of my fish had a cloudy eye. The other eye is clear and it is eating well and behaving normally. None of the other fish have any problems so I'm thinking that it may be an injury and I'm hoping it will heal by itself with just water changes. Currently doing 50% water change every other day and feeding freeze dried blackworms and pellets. Should I be worried about the eye and medicate or will it heal naturally by itself? Thoughts?

If it's due to injury, it'll probably be ok. But as a precaution, I would do your water change every day for a few days and add about 3tbs salt per 10g.

Good luck!

Since your tank is bare bottom and looks without ornaments, I don't think it's injury. Cardinal tetras wouldnt at peck at discus eyes either.
Therefore I think it's bacterial or fungal.
Check water parameters please to figure other possibilities.

Try dosing pimafix and melafix for a week.
Don't worry, this won't damage your biofilter.
Some say these don't work but they are very mild treatments in my opinion.
I'd it doesn't heal in a week, you might need stronger meds. Do update us
