View Full Version : Please suggest for a Thailand Breeder for quality Discus !!!

Hi Discus fish keepers . I am Riaz from Pakistan , actually i am here becuz of a serious problem about finding good quality Discus fish in my Country.
Firstly I told u a little about me , I am a Discus fish lover & why I love this fish is mainly becuz of this great site (Thnx to the founder , admin & all the great users) When I was in Bahrain I found this site & as I read more about Discus here the more I fell in love with this beautiful fish . I keep my first discus tank in Bahrain ... but as I comeback to my Home Country I searched this beautiful fish & very sad to say that I didnt find any good discus here I searched in almost every City but nothing , Only found very very low quality Discus fishes :( . So I came here again & very much sure that some one will help me here . I need quality Discus to import here but as I dont have license or import permit maybe, so I need a good discus breeder from Thailand ( Must be a User of this site , as I pretty much sure that if he is a user here he will be providing quality Discus ) Who can ship to Islamabad - Pakistan. I request you who ever read this please if some one knows any breeder who can ship to Pakistan , let me know then. One more thing "Why I need a Breeder only From Thailand ?" This is why Becuz as i mentioned earlier I dont have any permit or papers so My local LFS owner who is importing fishes from Thailand is telling me to find a breeder from Thailand & ask him to deliver there to another person who is exporting fishes to my Local LFS Owner. See how much complication :(:(:( to have discus in my area . anyway hope you all understand what I trying to say ... this is one condition to import discus from Thailand ... & if any of you suggest me another better condition/solution to import discus to my Country , please let me know soon .

P.S. : Please guys I came here & write this just bcuz I trust you guys & very much sure that you will give me best solution for my problem

Hi Riaz, I deleted your other thread but will give you a bump here. I personally do not know if a way to assist you. However I do hope someone here can suggest a way to help you in your endeavor.

I know nothing about them, but check out their website per the link below. They seem to be legitimate in that they've been breeding & exporting discus for many years, and their gallery of discus appears to show good quality, healthy fish.

Check them out as best you can - perhaps your local fish store can help you out there. Best of luck to you. Hope this helps.

I have been to Somsak they are ok, If you want better quality try P&Y.

dont know if KITTYS DISCUS in thailand still around but years back nyc importers was bringing in some awsome stuff from them and healthy .

P&y get their stock from Ricky Lim
They aren’t taking new customers.

Also theirs best disicus that sells from Ricky lim parents Ans she does. A great job but they sell small and measure the tail. I got from her . All doing well. You can tranship to your country . So can just get a box . Jidt ask for a transhipper . It lands where the transhipper lives. They clear customs etc then you pay to forward to your town .
Look on fb under best discus . But most are sold at 2 inch but she does sell bigger .
