Its with a sad heart that I want to let you all know that the Founder and Owner of Australian Blackworms has passed away this past Thursday after a long battle with Cancer. Mal was an incredible person with a strong work ethic and dedication to his business. He was also a good person and one I was glad to call friend. After working with him for years its going to be strange not dealing with him anymore. I will miss him from both a personal aspect and my work relationship.

The farm has indicated that they will carry on for him as he would want. He set a high bar and I have no doubt they will as well.

Mal thank you for bringing us your innovative line of Freeze Dried Blackworms, you had a huge impact on the fish keeping hobby, especially discus keepers, and thank you for inspiring me to start my AquaticSuppliers business.I would never have done so if you hadn't approached me all those years ago about your business.

This is sad .A man few knew that touched so many is gone .
It is a true statement of quality when people world wide desire your product .
Fortunately he created such a great product that his business can survive and we can all still benefit from his efforts .

This is indeed sad news. I first found out via their face book page and was very saddened by the news. I've come to know Mal over the years, as i've only ever ordered directly from him over the phone. He was a true gentleman. Condolences to his family.

I spoke with the young couple involved with the business months ago, and they also seem very pleasant. With the expansion of the building and facilities recently, i am sure we will continue to be able to feed our discus this great product.
