Anyone had any experiences using cell-pore bio-cartridges on a emperor 400 or other similar filter?? Do they actually do a better job of filtering? What about the life span?

I do, and I cannot see how they cannot be beneficial. Should last forever if kept reasonably clean. Frank

I have been using it for about 8 months and it has been my best filter yet.

Yep - they are great. and when I got rid of the Emperor I put the cell-Pore slabs in an aqua clear 500. Rinse and reuse forever.
