Hi all,
I had an idea that I had to try to build to fruition. My babies kept getting chowed on by the other discus in my tank >:( and I tried the bowl raising deal, but it was so hard to regulate temp, do W/C's when I work long hours and am away, etc. so here's my invention. I bought a 6.6L rubbermaid storage container(Wally world) and made an overflow drain in it by drilling in a bulkhead(actually a sink sprayer line holder) with a rubber gasket on the inside to hold leaks. The feed line is from my venturi port on my 802 powerhead hooked up to my bio-wheel. This provides constant fresh, warm, circulated tank water to the fry. So far it looks like it's working out!

Looks good, Steve.

Are they eggs or babies on the pot?

Hi all,
Rod, they are wigglers as of a few hours ago tonight. A few were dislodged from the strong current when I first put the output in there, but they eventually attached again. I restricted the outflow with some paper clamps on the tubing line. Now I just have to mesh off the drain line before they become free swimming

Looks good. I use those paper clips for about a dozen different things
as well. They come in several sizes and make good clamps.
