Hi Gang;
I transfered my group of 9 Discus to a new 75 gallon tank yesterday. They seem to enjoy their bigger tank and were exploring their new surroundings. This evening I noticed that 2 of the Discus are swimming with their head pointing up (45 degree angle) and seem to have trouble getting off of the bottom of the tank :-[
What could be causing this?? I sure hope they get better as it is really worrying me!! The tank is BB, ammonia and nitrite is not detectable and nitrates are under 20. The pH is 7.2 and water temp around 85-86F. I do 40-50%WC daily and have added salt (about 3-5 tbsp/10 gallon).
