Some of us who met with Jason, Jeff and Chad last Sunday discussed the possiblility of getting a group event set up for the second Sunday in December. December 8th I think.

Anyone up for something? I thought a "Pot Luck" lunch might be easy to get together?

If interested please reply here with suggestions or location ideas.

Thanks.

OK. How about we meet at Jeff and Jason's warehouse. We can have a "Potluck" Lunch and maybe a Gift Exchange game if you all want to. We need confirmation from Jeff that we can use his place and we need to know how many are planning to attend.

So far we have Jeff, Jason, Sanan, Grace, Jay and myself. Anyone else? I wouldn't advise the gift exchange game unless we have 10 or more people.

Let's see if we can get some more interest.

OK. Place is Jeff and Jason's warehouse. Contact Jeff at www.discusfarm.us for directions. Time is 11:30 on Sunday, December 8th.

I will bring a main course... either pizza or fried chicken or something yet to be determined.

Based on current responses I think we need about 2 or 3 with main courses, 1 or 2 with drinks, 1 with paper plates / forks if necessary etc, and 1 with chips or veggies or something of that sort.

Please post what you would like to bring. If you have preferences for specifics like pizza toppings or something post that too.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

I hope you guy's have a good time. I would have liked to come over from Phoenix but meeting on a Sunday for me would be pushing it to get home for work on Monday. Anyway keep us posted on how the party goes.

Grace and Jay can't attend (Toothfairy) as they have family commitments. Who is still interested? Should we pick another weekend?

Please post if you still want to do this on the 8th.

Thanks.

I'm still in. I think Jeff and Jason are still available... since it's going to be at their warehouse we're sort of dependant on them. I think there are still 2 others so total of 6?

I hope we're still doing it. Looking forward to meeting others and seeing fish.

So the SCDA's first get together is on Dec 8th at 11:30. 8)

I will bring dessert.

Are we planning to do any kind of trading/selling of used equipment, tanks, food, etc..? Does anyone have used tanks (30, 40 gallon) and blue water storage tanks?

I'm still down. The closer it gets to X-mas and New Years I think it would be harder for us all to get out so this looks like the best time to do it. As far as what to bring... I still don't know.... Oh yeah if anybody has any Acrylic tanks they want to sell me please e-mail me at allan_mark76@yahoo.com as I'm in need of some tanks.

Thanks.

I need a couple acrylic tanks too. I'm looking for 50-80s... and I might buy 1 or 2 at a good price. How many do you want mark? I'll ask some of the local stores I go to how much they would charge for buying several at once. We might get a break. Or were you looking for used?
