Hi People!

I have been lurking around for a while but have not contributed very much. Maybe it's time I get more involved.

Here are some pictures I took of my discus today (Yes, I know, it's crowded in there).

Lovely, healthy discus. I've heard most wilds have larger eyes than tank bred discus.

Hi again,

Thanks all!!! Can't remember having got so many compliments in so short time before ;D

Jeff:
The wilds (one Heckel and two greens) I bought in a LFS. All I know is that they had been quarantined in Germany.

The others are from Jeffrey Tan in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Some friends of mine visited him last spring and picked out nice discus for themselves and me. They got trouble bringing the fish on the plane (despite all the right papers), so Mr. Tan had to pick up the fish on the airport an send them to us later. Very nice of him, since we had already paid for the fish and it wasn't his responsibility anymore!

Paul:
Unfortunately there are not many enthusiastic discus keepers in Norway :(. I visited Duisburg two years ago, and didn't meet other Norwegians there. My friends that also keep discus I have met trough my studies, which is biology of aquaculture. Fish keepers are for sure over-represented on my institute compared to the rest of the population. I do join a local aquarium club, though. Some pictures of my other fish and planted tanks can be found on its web-site: http://www.bergenak.org/bilder/P_G_Espedal/ (The Norwegian special characters have made the discus-links not functioning >:()
